To life and family..... Lyric Opera's newest and long awaited production of Fiddler on the Roof has arrived.

Lyric Opera of Chicago will present the North American premiere of a bold new production of the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof, September 17 to October 7, 2022. Check out photos from the production!

Michael Childers “One Night Only' celebrates its 16th year in the desert with “New York, New York” on November 9, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. This year’s theme is all about New York in all its glory from Harlem and the Cotton Club to Broadway and 42nd Street to Studio 54. All proceeds benefit The Barbara Sinatra Children's Foundation. Once again the creative team is helmed by director Scott Coulter and musical director Todd Schroeder. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, September 7, through the McCallum Theatre box office online at www.McCallumTheatre.com. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 760-340-2787.

Once again, Sam Gravitte, recently seen as Fiyero in Wicked on Broadway, teamed up with a quartet of some of New York City’s most dynamic young musicians at Birdland on Monday evening. Lyric Opera of Chicago has announced principal casting for its new to Chicago production of Fiddler on the Roof, the North American premiere of an internationally heralded reinvention of the Broadway classic, set to hit the Lyric stage this Fall.

American Songbook Association recently hosted the Third Annual Gala to honor Stephen Schwartz on Monday, May 9 at 7:30 PM. Schwartz - the Oscar, Grammy and Tony-winning composer and lyricist of Wicked, Pippin, Godspell and more - received the 2022 ASA Lifetime Achievement Award.

Her special guests for May 9 will include NaTasha Yvette Williams (Waitress), Christian Thompson (Ain’t Too Proud), and Hayley Podschun (Wicked), in addition to students from the Manhattan School of Music. Each show has a $40 music charge. Birdland is located at 315 West 44th Street in New York.
