The current COVID -19 crisis has had a devastating effect on the performing arts. Broadway has shut down, and the ban on gatherings in New York extends to all other performance spaces as well, including the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell, home to the Bergen County Players (BCP) since 1949. The show must go on(line) and, luckily, streaming video makes that possible.

Bergen County Players, one of America's longest-running little theater companies, is pleased to continue its 2019-2020 season with Christopher Durang's Tony Award-winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, a loving homage to playwright Anton Chekhov's themes of heartbreak and hope. Directed by Alyson Cohn, this hilarious Broadway sensation will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from March 21st through April 18th, 2020. Shows will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Bergen County Players, one of America's longest-running little theater companies, will kick off its new Second Stage season with a limited engagement of Ernest Thompson's ANSWERS, a duo of hilarious one-act comedies. The acclaimed male vocal group The Flyboys will make their Edinburgh Fringe debut this year when they perform their fusion act of vintage and modern music in four part harmony nightly at the Gilded Balloon's Rose Theatre (Main Theatre) from August 1 to August 24 at 10.30pm. The Flyboys brand of swing re-imagined has been described as "if Sinatra formed a band with Bruno Mars" or "a night where Pharrell Williams croons with Judy Garland, Ricky Martin scats with Cab Calloway and Maroon 5 groove with Ella Fitzgerald."

A bevy of songs from some of Broadway's Tony Award-winning musicals will light up the Bergen County Players' (BCP) stage March 24 through April 21, with the curtain at 8 pm on

Crown City Theatre Company's production of 'Somewhere in the Middle (or guess who's coming for Passover)' is extending through October 22nd, with added performances on Thursday nights (featuring an alternate cast).

Get ready to roll in the aisles as Bergen County Players (BCP) ushers in the 2017-2018 season with a side-splitting production of SPAMALOT, adapted from the classic 1975 cult film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Dreamboats and Petticoats The Musical returns to celebrate 10 years of the multi-million selling albums that inspired the Olivier Award nominated musical. The show opens at Theatre Royal Windsor on 25th January before embarking on a nationwide tour.

The heady teenage world of the 1950s, with its bobby socks, flouncy skirts and drainpipe jeans, is brought to life in Dreamboats & Petticoats at the New Alexandra Theatre. Early rock 'n' roll is the soundtrack for this jukebox musical, with Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochran all featuring in this trip back through the decades.
