Outspoken and un-cancelable veteran comedians, Alonzo Bodden, Mitch Fatel and Tammy Pescatelli  take on cancel culture without politics, race or religion getting in the way when the Cancel this Comedy Tour comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 12 at 8 pm. Tickets are $29-$49.

The Chicago Theatre will celebrate its 100th anniversary on October 26, 2021. In honor of this milestone anniversary, Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot issued a proclamation recognizing tomorrow as Chicago Theatre Day.

Robert Battle, Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, announced today that internationally renowned performer, choreographer, director, and multi-disciplinary artist Francesca Harper has been appointed Artistic Director of Ailey II, the Ailey organization's acclaimed company of young dancers. Ms. Harper will assume her duties on September 7, 2021, and will immediately begin preparing for Ailey II's return to the stage.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present singer and songwriter Nellie McKay for two very special shows on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 at 8:30 PM.
