On Thursday, January 6, Arts Garage launches an hysterical new comedy series The Art of Laughter, kicking off with TV, Film and Comedy Club superstar Jimmie “JJ” Walker. The new series will run quarterly on First Thursdays and will feature some of the best touring comedians from South Florida and beyond.

The Den Theatre has announced Todd Barry: 2022 Stadium Tour, featuring two stand-up performances on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 7 pm & 9:15 pm on The Heath Mainstage, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Exciting jazz programming is on the slate at Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater running December 13 - December 26. 

Blame My Youth, the name Sean Van Vleet records under, has shared a new song, “Feel It In the Morning.” He began Blame My Youth in 2020 but it wasn’t until this fall that he was able to take his band out on the road, playing a series of festivals across the U.S. Watch the tour video for the new single now!

The comedy fest in Los Angeles will feature Amy Poehler, Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, Chris Rock, Conan O’Brien, David Letterman, Ellen DeGeneres, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Jerry Seinfeld, John Mulaney, Larry David, Margaret Cho, Maya Rudolph, Nick Kroll, Sandra Bernhard, Seth Rogen, Tina Fey, Wanda Sykes and more. 

The Den Theatre has announced comedian, writer and podcaster Hari Kondabolu will perform five stand-up performances June 23 – 25, 2022 on The Heath Mainstage, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.

The annual Rob Mathes Holiday Concert is happening this year but will be performed in advance and taped for airing on Rob Mathes' YouTube channel, Rob Mathes Music, for two weeks during the holiday season from December 22 through January 5.

Netflix has released the trailer for Michael Che's new standup special, Shame the Devil. Directed by Kristian Mercado, the special is produced by Irony Point. Che released his first hour-long stand-up special in 2016, entitled Michael Che Matters on Netflix.
