Naxos releases Zoltán Kodály's orchestral works, featuring JoAnn Falletta and the Buffalo Philharmonic. This album completes the full collection of Kodály's orchestral compositions.

Grammy-nominated singer Halsey has joined the Hollywood Bowl's production of Nightmare Before Christmas, playing the role of Sally for two nights before handing it off to original voice actress Catherine O'Hara for the third. The concert will also feature Fred Armisen as Nightmare, Ken Page as Oogie Boogie, and Danny Elfman as Jack Skellington.

Seventeen projects and nearly four decades of artistic alliance have produced beloved classics like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, and Edward Scissorhands. Ten years after the first musical celebration, Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton returns to the Royal Albert Hall. John Mauceri conducted the BBC Concert Orchestra alongside the Crouch End Festival Chorus in a concert full of surprises.

South Bay Wind Ensemble will begin its  2023/2024 season with 'Frankenstein: Alive in Concert' on October 28, 2023 at 7 p.m. The classic 1931 film has sound and dialog, but no music. So now, South Bay Winds are providing the music with a 2002 score by composer Michael Shapiro.
