YoungArts finalists will participate in National YoungArts Week+, an intensive program of online classes and workshops with internationally recognized leaders in their fields, followed by a seven-part series of free virtual performances, writers' readings, an exhibition and a film screening where audiences will discover the next generation of great artists.

ArtsRock will bring Broadway to Nyack with music from Fiddler on the Roof, played by renowned violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins and friends, hosted by WQXR’s Elliott Forrest. Ms. Hall-Tompkins has played world-wide with nearly every orchestra and was the Fiddler violin soloist in the most recent Grammy and Tony-nominated Broadway production for a year.

The event will feature performances by Broadway's Amber Iman, Tony Award winner Gavin Creel, Sasha Allen, Jo Lampert, Obie Award winner Whitney White, Hoofer Award winner Ayodele Casel, and more.

The recent first-time Tony nominee is ready for another first: his own solo show.

NY PopsUp will present an array of performances this weekend from Brooklyn to upstate New York. Performances include the fourth in a series of Jazz Clubs curated by Artist Council Member Cécile McLorin Salvant at a park in Brooklyn; and “The Boogie Get Down,” a dance day in the Bronx curated by Artist Council Member Ayodele Casel.

Tony-nominated Broadway star Daniel J. Watts joins TODAY to talk about his series “The Jam,” in which he uses comedy, music and storytelling to paint a picture of what it was like growing up as an only child.

Also set to perform in this concert of wall to wall talent are Tony-Grammy-Emmy-Golden Globe award winner Billy Porter (Fx's 'POSE', Kinky Boots), Tony and Drama Desk Award winner Kelli O'Hara (Kiss Me Kate, The King and I), Daniel Watts (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Hamilton) and recording artist Crystal Monee Hall (For The Girls, RENT).

This winter and spring, Joe's Pub a?" a program and venue of The Public Theater a?" is honoring new voices in musical theater through a variety of shows. From Broadway performers in concert to new musicals presented in the concert setting, there's something for every fan of musicals happening this season. Audiences are invited to celebrate the art of musical theater in non-conventional yet intimate ways with returning artists and new faces alike at Joe's Pub.
