Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) continues its 2019-20 season with Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves, directed by Julie Foh. Performances will be held in Studio Theatre from October 24th through November 3rd, 2019.

Fresh off a month-long world premiere run at the esteemed Edinburgh Festival Fringe, All For One Theater presents the U.S. premiere of Lizzie Vieh's brutally demented romantic comedy, MONSOON SEASON. Directed by Kristin McCarthy Parker (Puffs), this twisted love story begins performances Monday, October 21 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place) for a limited engagement through November 17th. Opening night is set for Sunday, October 27th. Tickets, priced at $25, are available at www.afo.nyc.

Theatre production company Parity Productions, a producer of new work that ensures they fill at least 50% of the creative positions (playwrights, directors, and designers) on their productions with women and/or trans and gender nonconforming (TGNC) artists, is hosting their third annual Awards Ceremony and Celebration on Wednesday, October 16 from 6pm-9pm at Theaterlab, honoring and announcing the winners of the third Annual Parity Commission.

The Tank (Meghan Finn, Artistic Director) will present additional performances of Email Pro, a monthly comedy show created and performed by Ivan Anderson, in the 56-seat theater at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) on Tuesday, September 17 at 7pm, Tuesday, October 15 at 7pm, Tuesday, November 12 at 7pm, and Tuesday, December 17 at 7pm. Tickets ($5) are available for advance purchase at www.thetanknyc.org. The performance will run approximately 75 minutes, with no intermission.

The Tank will present its 2019-20 season at 312 West 36th Street in its 98-seat proscenium and 56-seat blackbox spaces. This season marks The Tank's 2nd anniversary in its home on West 36th Street and embodies the company's mission to break down economic barriers and invest in emerging artists by sustaining an incubator and home for the creation and presentation of their work.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre (KCRep), announced the full schedule for this season's popular Monday Night Playwright Series, which opened with BURIED ROOTS, its first play of the series, on Monday. The series features a line-up of new and returning playwrights including Michelle Tyrene Johnson, Darren Canady, James Still, Migdalia Cruz, Mashuq Mushtaq Deen and Ellen McLaughlin. These free public events take place on the UMKC campus at the Spencer Theatre Donor Lounge.  

BROADWAY CREW (founded by Samuel Clark and Jackson Thompson), the full-service boutique promotional company, recently marked its first year in business with an industry anniversary celebration and performance by cast members of the immersive new musical OSCAR at The Crown, presented by queer theater collective,The Neon Coven. (OSCAR at The Crown is currently performing at Three Dollar Bill in Brooklyn.)

Set in New York City, THE CONCRETE JUNGLE is a modern romantic musical comedy inspired by Cyrano de Bergerac. In this musical "catfish", aspiring poet Abby Burgess slings drinks at the Concrete Jungle Bar & Grill to pay off her student loans. Upon suffering a bout of writer's block, Abby gets a phone call from a panic-stricken Canadian writer guy named Guy that changes her life forever. She begins imagining the inner lives of her customers that sparks her writing to take on a new topic for her…love. But, after Abby describes herself as her friend Vanessa, will Guy professes his love to the wrong woman, or will Abby face her greatest fears and reveal her true self?

A private industry-only concert of the award-winning musical MARY AND MAX by Crystal Skillman and Bobby Cronin to be presented MAY 23rd

Rain and Zoe Save the World, an award-winning new play by Crystal Skillman, the bookwriter of Mary and Max the musical, will receive an industry reading at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios on May 15th at 3 PM. The reading will be directed by Hersh Ellis.

The San Diego State University MFA Musical Theatre Program has launched an innovative two-year development program dedicated to fostering the creation of new musicals. The SDSU MFA New Musical Initiative was conceived with the idea of helping musical theatre writers develop a new work through a two-year process including a reading (fall 2018), a workshop (spring 2019) and a full production (spring 2020). After a competitive submission process, which saw over 120 new scripts and scores, the selection committee chose 'Til Death Do Us Part by Bobby Cronin and Caroline Prugh.

On Monday March 18th the award winning play RAIN AND ZOE SAVE THE WORLD by Crystal Skillman received a staged reading in the Living Room Series at the Blank Theatre in Los Angeles.
