BEETLEJUICE, the new musical comedy, is currently in previews at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway), where it opens on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

The new Broadway musical BEETLEJUICE has announced a $43 Digital Lottery beginning Monday, April 15, 2019.

It's showtime, folks! The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in this edgy and irreverent musical comedy based on Tim Burton's dearly beloved film. Alex Brightman recently appeared on the Elvis Duran show to talk about his current role in Beetlejuice on Broadway.

Just yesterday, Alex Brightman launched 'It's (Game) Showtime,' a live game show hosted by members of the BEETLEJUICE cast every Tuesday during preview performances outside the Winter Garden Theatre Box Office. 'It's (Game) Showtime!' is part of BEETLEJUICE's weekly lottery that opens at 5pm, and at 5:30pm, two lucky lottery entrants will be chosen to compete in 'It's (Game) Showtime!', a trivia game based on all things BEETLEJUICE. The winner gets a pair of tickets to that evening's performance of BEETLEJUICE on Broadway, and the runner-up has the chance to purchase two specially priced $33.33 tickets for the performance.

The Broadway transfer of Beetlejuice began previews on March 28th and is now on stage at the Winter Garden Theatre. The show welcomes back original members of the Washington DC company including Alex Brightman in the title role, Sophia Anne Caruso as Lydia, Kerry Butler as Barbara, Rob McClure as Adam, Adam Dannheisseras Charles, and Leslie Kritzer as Delia. The new Broadway musical BEETLEJUICE has announced that a limited number of $43 general rush tickets will be available at the Winter Garden Theatre Box Office (1634 Broadway) when it opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium, and the biggest sandworm Broadway has ever seen.

BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, proudly presents the next event in the 2018-2019 Family Series Season: The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System from TheaterworksUSA on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00AM. Ambitious Becky Sharp may not have been born with wealth or status, but she's determined to attain both-at any cost. Armed with fierce wit and calculating charm, Becky forges her own path through London's high society, dealing herself into a game she was never invited to play. Displaying the celebrated audacity and verve that she brought to her adaptation of Sense & Sensibility, Hamill conjures an inventive and lively period drama that combines a fierce contemporary edge with the theatricality of Victorian Burlesque.

I recently had the opportunity to attend a press event with the cast of BEETLEJUICE The Musical. I love going to these events. It's the best time to be at the beginning of a show's journey on the Great White Way. I got the chance to talk to the main cast (Rob McClure, Alex Brightman, Sophia Anne Caruso, Kerry Butler, Adam Dannheisser, and Leslie Kritzer), the composer/lyricist, Eddie Perfect, and the director, Alex Timbers.

Mean Girls, Big Little Lies, Heathers, Broad City, Thelma and Louise, Parks and Recreation, Sex and the City…These are some of the better known vehicles for female friendship that inhabit our pop culture universe. Paling in comparison to the numerous portrayals of male friendships and "bromances", too often these relationships center on competition or jealousy, on getting the guy. Very few take a deeper, more comprehensive dive into the complexity of female companionship. Even fewer are the product of female authors, directors, playwrights, etc.
