DAVINCI & MICHELANGELO: THE TITANS EXPERIENCE Opening St Luke's Theatre

After over 500 years, the two greatest minds and artists of the Renaissance will make their New York stage debut in Da Vinci & Michelangelo: The Titans Experience. Created and performed by Mark Rodgers, this multimedia production exploring the artists' works and lives will play St. Luke's Theatre (308 W. 46th St., between 8th and 9th Avenues) beginning August 15th, with opening night set for Thursday August 22nd. BWW Review: Lea Michele Heads All-Star Cast Raising LIVE-TO-FILM: THE LITTLE MERMAID Above the Sea & Into the Stratosphere

A vocally-gifted, all-star cast accompanied by a gorgeous, live orchestra breathed added dimensions to Disney's animated Little Mermaid. The screening of this 30-year-old Disney classic received the IMMERSIVE LIVE-TO-FILM CONCERT EXPERIENCE treatment. Lea Michele as the titular Ariel NAILED her 'Part of Your World' with her soaring vocals and two ethereal blue gowns.

Christine Andreas' Piaf No Regrets Goes Collector's Item Vinyl On PS Classics

Broadway award-winning star and concert star Christine Andreas will release limited signed vinyl of her newest album Christine Andreas Piaf-No Regrets on PS Classics available online only starting on April 23, 2019.  Christine has been touring the U.S. and abroad with her much-acclaimed one-woman show Piaf, No Regrets. 

MPAC Offers Ways To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Mayo Performing Arts Center will get into the Saint Patrick's Day spirit with two events in March that celebrate all things Irish.  The National Dance Company of Ireland will present 'Rhythm of the Dance' on Sunday, March 10 at 3 pm and 7 pm; and on March 16, MPAC presents Songs of Ireland - A Celtic Celebration at 7:30 pm.

Chad Henderson Brings Artists From Charleston, Myrtle Beach, And New York City To Trustus Theatre In Season 34

In Trustus Theatre's 34th Season, Trustus Artistic Director Chad Henderson is looking beyond the Midlands to create the outstanding programs housed within the theatre's walls. In 2019, Trustus Theatre is collaborating with four professional theatre artists from Charleston, SC: Sharon Graci (Artistic Director of Pure Theatre), Janine McCabe (College of Charleston Department of Theatre Chair), Erin Wilson (Pure Theatre Core Ensemble Member), and Scott Pattinson (Actors' Equity Association Member, Pure Theatre Core Ensemble Member). The theatre is also bringing back past Trustus Company Member Baxter Engle and Trustus Company Emeritus Steve Harley. Engle is a professional designer who now lives in New York City working with Production Glue, a live event company. Harley is a professional actor who is based out of Myrtle Beach and is a Company Member at Atlantic Stage.

Gidon Kremer And Kremerata Baltica Join Columbia Artists

Today, Columbia Artists announced that Gidon Kremer, the world-renowned violinist and founder of his eponymous chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica, will join its roster. Columbia Artists will represent Kremer and Kremerata Baltica as General Management in North America, Asia, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Broadway award-winning star and concert star Christine Andreas will release her newest album Christine Andreas Piaf-No Regrets on PS Classics   on November 9th , 2018.  Christine is currently touring the U.S. and abroad with her much-acclaimed one-woman show Piaf, No Regrets.  This new CD was recorded in London this past summer with a 36- piece orchestra, conducted and orchestrated by Larry Blank and produced by Martin Silvestri. Singing both in English and in French, Andreas draws from her one-woman show, where she was   lauded by The New York Times...' Andreas's ravishing voice with its rapid vibrato, metallic edge…(and) snapping emotional electricity, has made her a potent interpreter of Piaf.'

Whistler Film Festival Announces Call for Artists for 5th Annual Music Showcase

Today, the Whistler Film Festival (WFF) issued the call for artists to participate in the fifth consecutive WFF Music Showcase during the 2018 Festival (November 28 to December 2). The opportunity will include evening performances as well as pre-scheduled meetings with industry music supervisors.

Harris Center Welcomes Chinese Warriors Of Peking

Filled with high-intensity martial arts and breathtaking acrobatics, Chinese Warriors of Peking is set during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).  It tells the tale of two rival martial arts schools competing in the ancient Chinese capital of Peking. The Warriors provide a culturally enriching experience filled with juggling, acrobatics, weapons handling, and live stage combat. Presented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of The People's Republic of China, this brand new production is produced by Columbia Artists.

Harlem's Iconic Apollo Theater Appoints Aldo Scrofani As New COO

The Apollo Theater, the soul of American culture and Harlem's town square, today announced the appointment of Aldo Scrofani as its new Chief Operating Officer. A veteran of the live entertainment industry, Scrofani has been involved with over 100 theatrical productions and worked with some of the largest names in the performing arts; his appointment is effective immediately.

Apollo's Fire Brings Monteverdi's L'Orfeo To Ann Arbor, Berkeley And Sonoma In April 2018

After a critically acclaimed East Coast Tour last month which included a Carnegie Hall debut on March 22, Apollo's Fire launches a new production of Monteverdi's L'Orfeo (Orpheus in the Underworld) starting on April 13 in Cleveland. Conducted by founding artistic director Jeannette Sorrell and directed by British stage director Sophie Daneman, the semi-staged production will include a historically reconstructed version of the work's original ending, as well as period dancers, digital scenic projections, and a stellar cast of singers. Apollo's Fire will present Monteverdi's L'Orfeo on tour at three leading American performing arts institutions; return visits to University Musical Society in Ann Arbor on April 15 and Cal Performances in Berkeley on April 20, and a debut at Green Music Center in Sonoma on April 22.
