Following a sold-out run at London's Old Vic and a West End transfer, GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY, from Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Conor McPherson and music icon Bob Dylan makes its North American premiere at The Public with an American cast this fall. Dylan's inimitable songbook is authentically transformed by McPherson into an achingly beautiful story of a down-on-its-luck community on the brink of change in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1934.

The starry lineup is set for the second concert in the new Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On September 24 at 7pm and 9:30pm, The Green Room 42 will present Unplugged: Justin Timberlake, featuring original "unplugged" arrangements of the pop star's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band.

On Sunday night at the 6th annual #giveback concert, Broadway Unlocked raised $48,000 to benefit the Crime Victims Treatment Center at WNYC's The Greene Space.
Broadway Unlocked founder Jessica Ryan announced today that the performance lineup for the sixth annual #giveback concert slated for Sunday, May 13 at 7.30pm at WNYC's The Greene Space (44 Charlton Street) has been updated. Along with producers Kelly Weaver and Mike Borges, Broadway Unlocked is bringing Broadway favorites together to perform and raise funds for the Crime Victims Treatment Center, a not-for-profit organization committed to helping people heal from violent crime. The live concert is directed by Nathan Tysen (Tuck Everlasting, Amelie).
