Producer Stacey Mindich has just announced that Dear Evan Hansen, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has recouped its production costs in just 8.5 months on Broadway. Capitalized at $9.5 million, Dear Evan Hansen opened at the Music Box Theatre to rave reviews on December 4, 2016, where it's broken all box office records and been playing to standing-room-only crowds since.
Broadway Sessions celebrated it's season finale recently. Nobody panic! Broadway Sessions will be back weekly beginning on September 7th. But of course we had to blow the roof of the joint 1 more time before parting. Entitled 'Total Request Live: Break Free (a night for Manchester)' this special event will feature the work of Ariana Grande, as rearranged by the creative team and artists, and will benefit the We Love Manchester United Fund.
