FringeArts welcomes the most exciting new voices in American comedy to Philadelphia on February 1 & 2 for the inaugural Blue Heaven comedy festival. The festival name references "blue" comedy, or the bawdiest, most risque material in a comedian's repertoire, and Blue Heaven celebrates precisely that with a diverse lineup that pairs cabaret performers alongside nationally-recognized comedians as they tease and interrogate stand-up, improv, sketch, and musical comedy.

truTV invites guests back into the rich, imaginative - and slightly deranged - world of At Home with Amy Sedaris when the Emmy(R)-nominated series returns for its second season Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT. Created by Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello (Strangers with Candy), the 10-episode season of this one-of-a-kind comedy will again feature Sedaris' signature brand of silliness as she showcases her decorating, cooking and crafting skills.

Blue Heaven presents twelve distinct comedy acts over two days this February 1 and 2. The Shubert Organization and movie/television/theatre producers Craig Zadan & Neil Meron, fresh off their juggernaut NBC television event 'Jesus Christ Superstar LIVE,' announced today that they have acquired the coveted rights to adapt Some Like It Hot as an all-new musical for the stage from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.
