 The Columbus Jazz Orchestra (CJO) will kick off their 52nd season with The Greatest Jazz Concert in the World Oct. 10-13 at the Southern Theatre. Led by Bandleader Byron Stripling, the four concerts will feature legendary jazz musicians John Clayton and Jeff Hamilton alongside the orchestra.

The Soraya's monthlong Jazz at Naz Festival rolls into March this year with two masters of the musical genre—the elder statesman sax legend Charles Lloyd celebrates his 85th birthday on March 18 with an all-star lineup, and the 2023 GRAMMY Award-winning Best New Artist Samara Joy makes her debut at The Soraya with Clayton-Hamilton Orchestra on March 26. Both concerts will be Live Streamed from The Soraya's Great Hall for just $19 each.  

The Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra featuring Samara Joy scheduled for Saturday, February 11, has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 7pm. 

The Soraya, a new epicenter for jazz in L.A., launches its second annual Jazz at Naz Festival with five nights of the best of Jazz performances kicking off on Thu, Feb 2 with Christian McBride's “The Movement Revisited: a Musical Portrait of Four Icons.”

Los Angeles Jazz Society's annual Jazz Tribute Concert and Awards are a celebration of jazz and its talented musicians who have made this extraordinary music their life's passion. This year's edition, hosted by KJAZZ's Rhonda Hamilton, will feature over 90 minutes of musical tributes, honoring the likes of Rickey Minor, Ledisi, and Bill Holman at the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday, October 29, 2022, beginning at 7:30pm.

he Soraya's Jazz at Naz festival returns for a second year with  five nights of the best of Jazz performances kicking off on February 2 with Christian McBride's  “The Movement Revisited,” celebrating heroes of the Civil Rights movement during Black History Month. Four more February performances follow—two in The Soraya's Great Hall, with its pristine acoustics, and two nights of performances in the intimate onstage Jazz Club. 

Celebrated Pianist, composer, arranger/orchestrator and conductor Steven Feifke has joined forces with trumpet titan Bijon Watson on the eponymous debut album of their star-studded new ensemble, the Generation Gap Jazz Orchestra.
