Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the encore screenings of two dazzling and award-winning musicals, Kinky Boots, and 42nd Street, filmed live from London's Theatre Royal, presented by BYExperience. Kinky Boots, with a joyous score by Cyndi Lauper and a hilarious, uplifting book by Harvey Fierstein, screens Saturday, April 1, at 8 p.m. 42nd Street, one of Broadway's most classic and beloved tales, screens Saturday, April 8, at 8 p.m.

This summer, viewers can beat the heat and enjoy Broadway blockbusters from the comfort of their own homes with BroadwayHD! BroadwayHD has a variety of summer blockbuster titles, including Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Hair, and more. 

Jay commenced the first complete recording of the original version of the musical with the original orchestrations by Philip J. Lang at Abbey Road Studios, London on October 5 1996 and completed it at Clinton Recording Studios, New York on October 19 1996. This will be the first time it is released to the public.

The West End production of 42nd Street, filmed live at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this spring. The production is currently streaming on BroadwayHD, released by the company Liberator Film Services. The production company has announced that the musical will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 6, 2021.

Hello, Dolly!, one of the most iconic musicals of all time, was set to begin performances this summer at the West End's Adelphi Theatre. Producers of the show today announced that the production has been postponed to 2022.

Clare Halse is known for tapping away on the West End stage in 42nd Street at the Drury Lane Theatre and currently in White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre. A broadcast of that recent West End production of 42nd Street is to be shown in UK cinemas on various dates from 25 November. Clare spoke to BroadwayWorld about the big-screen event.

More2Screen, the award-winning Event Cinema distributor, today confirms that the cinema release of 42nd Street The Musical has taken £1.1 MILLION in its first week and it was the #1 film on Sunday 10th and Tuesday 12th November.
