Independent artist Julie Craig is set to release her debut solo album on January 10, 2020 featuring her soprano vocals in the classical crossover style, backed by a full, 46-piece orchestra from Budapest, Hungary. Producer Daniel Weidlein of BioSoul Music arranged and orchestrated, bringing his classical and jazz composition background to create exciting covers of existing classics, as well as original music. Most recording was done at The Village in Los Angeles, one of the most historic recording studios in operation, where the album was mixed by engineer to the stars, Matt Dyson.
BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Broadway production designer Peter Larkin has passed away. He was 93 and died at his home in Bridgehampton, New York, after a brief illness, according to Deadline.

On Tuesday, December 17th Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater reveals the company premiere of Camille A. Brown's City of Rain. This quietly lyrical piece honors the struggles and grace of a deceased friend, showing a different facet of the choreographer than Ailey audiences have seen in her previous works for the Company. Dedicated to Greg 'Blyes' Boomer, the work for 10 dancers is set to an original composition by Jonathan Melville Pratt entitled Two Way Dream. A recipient of numerous honors, including a 2014 Bessie Award for Outstanding Production for the work Mr. TOL. E. RAncE (Camille A. The Metropolitan Opera today announces two cast changes for its forthcoming production of Verdi's La Traviata, opening January 10, 2020. Piero Pretti sings the role of Alfredo Germont at the performances on February 26, 29, March 5, 9, 13, and 19, 2020, replacing Vittorio Grigolo. Additionally, New York City Ballet principal dancer Sara Mearns joins the cast as the female solo dancer for the performances on January 10, 14, 18, 23, 26, February 3, March 5, 9, and 13, 2020.
