Laura Benanti Will Perform One-Woman Show At Lesher Center For The Arts

Laura Benanti, renowned Broadway and TV performer, will perform at the Lesher Center for the Arts for one-night-only on Friday, March 27, 2020 (original performance date was January 31). She presents a one-woman production, Tales from Soprano Isle, marked with uproarious monologues, witty stories, and flawless soprano vocals from both classic Broadway productions as well as recognizable, modern tunes.

Hannah Q Dance Company to Perform WINTER SAGA

Teen Arts Week Returns March 2-8, And 92Y Announces Contest For Teens

92Y announces the second annual Teen Arts Week will take place March 2-8, 2020. It's seven days of FREE cultural events for NYC youth in all five boroughs. Dozens of leading arts organizations will offer classes, performances, music jams, poetry slams, art-making, films, career workshops, and more. Teens will be able to gain hands-on experience, engage with professionals in the creative industries, and explore pathways to future leadership within the context of the arts. All events are free to students 14 + with a valid school ID, and educators are invited to bring student groups. Martha Graham Dance Company Announces Spring 2020 Season At New York City Center

The world-renowned Martha Graham Dance Company presents the second season of The EVE Projecta?"a program celebrating female empowerment and the centennial of the 19th Amendment this year. The New York City Center season features acclaimed classics from Graham's repertory alongside works by some of today's top choreographers, including a world premiere by Andrea Miller and recent commissions from Pam Tanowitz and Maxine Doyle and Bobbi Jene Smith. Prima ballerina Diana Vishneva will be a guest star at the gala evening dancing Graham's Deep Song. Music for all of the Graham classics will be played live by The Mannes Orchestra.
