Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum will continue its 50th Anniversary Summer Season with Queen Margaret’s Version of Shakespeare’s War of the Roses, a new edit of Shakespeare’s best-known history plays — Henry VI Parts I, II and III and Richard III — compiled by artistic director Ellen Geer.

Candice Bergen will be returning as Enid Frick, Carrie Bradshaw’s Vogue editor in the new season of And Just Like That. Gloria Steinem will also appear, along with the previously announced Victor Garber, Oliver Hudson and Gary Dourdon. Returning series regulars include Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Sara Ramírez, and more.

RADIOTHEATRE, will present LIVE ON STAGE eleven classic tales of terror and suspense by the Grandmaster Of Horror in its 14th Annual EDGAR ALLAN POE FESTIVAL!

MCC Theater, in collaboration with The Sol Project, and INTAR Theatre will celebrate their productions this spring with a special street event on Saturday May 13, beginning at 1PM and running until 6PM in front of MCC Theater.

The limited series is starring and executive produced by Tom Holland. Featuring an ensemble cast led by Holland, the series also stars Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase and Lior Raz along with guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski and Zachary Golinger. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today announced its 2023-2024 season lineup, which includes five spectacular musicals. The Broadway @ the Ordway shows will include Come From Away, Peter Pan, Hairspray, ON YOUR FEET!, and SIX.

The ever enchanting Watermill Theatre in Newbury could hardly have hoped for more atmospheric weather to mark the opening night of their latest show, The Suspicions of Mr Whicher. The distant thunderclaps and bucketing rain seemed perfectly placed to instill a disquieting mood as the audience arrived for an evening of Victorian true crime.

Dr. Christopher Paige, Chair of Tafelmusik’s Board of Directors, has announced that Glenn Hodgins has been appointed Executive Director. Currently President and CEO of the Canadian Music Centre (CMC), Hodgins will join Tafelmusik starting June 21, 2023.

A private industry reading of a new stage musical Farmyard Follies will be held May 15th. An original musical, the work features a score and book by Blake Allen (Insomnia; the shards of an honor code junkie) and Critic's Choice Award Winner, Christopher Seeber (aka Tina Burner from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13) and is inspired by an idea by three-time Canadian Screen Award Nominee Aimée Beaudoin (Caution: May Contain Nuts). Drama Desk-Nominee and Lortel Award Winner Tye Blue (Titaníque) is directing with Allen as musical director.
