Reviews are in for the second year of the national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly!, starring Carolee Carmello in the iconic title role. 

Broadway in Detroit has announced that tomorrow's opening night performance, (Tuesday, November 19 at 8:00 PM) of the national tour of HELLO DOLLY! at Detroit's Fisher Theatre has been cancelled due to an unanticipated mechanical issue with one of the touring production's semi-trucks while en route to Detroit.

Wow wow wow, fellas! 55 years ago, Broadway's legendary original Dolly Levi, Carol Channing, took to the cover of Life Magazine as the matchmaker. Carolee Carmello, who is currently portraying the iconic character on the show's national tour, paid tribute to Channing by reenacting the photo in costume on stage. On Monday, June 10, 2019, the iconic Pierre Hotel's cabaret series Broadway at The Pierre will celebrate PRIDE with a special evening showcasing some of musical theater's brightest stars.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced that its award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, will ends its long run at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on Sunday, July 7. The production, which won the 2018 Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Drama League Awards for Best Musical Revival, will have played a total of 548 performances (39 previews and 509 performances).

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Thursday night, April 18th, Broadway Sessions  is thrilled to welcome back cast members from My Fair Lady and more.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Alexander Gemignani will assume the role of Alfred P. Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, beginning Tuesday, April 30

Broadway has grown accustomed to her face, and we just can't get enough.  Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced that Laura Benanti, who recently garnered rave reviews for her performance as Eliza Doolittle, will continue in that role in its award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, through Sunday, July 7 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).      

Earlier this month, six time Tony nominee Danny Burstein and Christian Dante White  assumed the role of Alfred P. Doolittle and Freddy Eynsford-Hill in Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady, directed by Bartlett Sher, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Christian Dante White will assume the role of Freddy Eynsford-Hill in Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, beginning Tuesday, January 8 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). He succeeds Jordan Donica who originated the role in this award-winning production.
