Jeunesses Musicales Ontario is pleased to present two of its star alumni: world-renowned violinist James Ehnes and award-winning pianist, Jamie Parker, in an intimate one-hour recital hosted by the popular broadcaster, and arts journalist Eric Friesen. While they have performed chamber music together before, this is their first appearance as a duo. The repertoire for this programme features Beethoven's Romance in G, Op. 40; Bach's Partita No. 3 for solo violin; and Schumann's Sonata in A Op. 105. This benefit supports Jeunesses Musicales Ontario, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. The event includes a cocktail reception in Glenn Gould Studio's foyer at 7 PM, with the concert to follow. Tickets are $75. There are a limited number of Patron tickets available at $225 each, which include an exclusive post-event reception with the artists, and a $150 tax receipt.
