Summer at Lincoln Center is a time-honored New York tradition, bringing people from all walks of life together to experience a multitude of music, dance, and drama across the entire campus.

Birdland will kick-off their great week of programming with the following acts:

Today, Lincoln Center announced the 30th season of Midsummer Night Swing, celebrating the rich diversity of New York City with a wide range of sounds and dance styles from Tuesday, June 25, to Saturday, July 13, 2019. Fifteen nights of outdoor dance lessons and performances under the stars-covering genres like swing, rhythm & blues, ballroom, tango, salsa, and forro-bring to life the timeless magic of summer in the city.

Birdland has announced its upcoming May program!

Theater for the New City and Executive Artistic Director Crystal Field will present a reading of Pie Lessons by Carrie Robbins, on Monday, March 11, 2019, 7:00 PM in the Community Space Theater at Theater for the New City. Pie Lessons will be presented as part of TNC's Scratch Night performance program, which offers the opportunity for artists to present work in progress to an audience for one night. HOMEMADE PIE WILL BE SERVED TO ALL COMERS!

This weekend, the renowned Eyal Vilner Big Band will blow the roof off of Birdland Jazz Club for a special holiday show! The show is this Sunday at 6:00pm (doors open at 5:00pm). This is Vilner's debut performance at the iconic club, known as the Jazz Corner of the World. Tickets are available here.

In two performances, Triad: Boston's Choral Collective presents the concert program Love is the every today, November 17, 8 pm, Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin Street, Melrose, and Sunday, November 18, 8 pm at Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church, 155 Powderhouse Boulevard, Somerville.

The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) presented the tenth annual Broadway Salutes ceremony on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Sardi's Restaurant (234 West 44th St).

On Monday, September 24, 2018 Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 14 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, presented 26 awards and four honorary awards for outstanding achievement in theatre at the 14th Annual New York Innovative Theatre Awards Ceremony, at Centennial Memorial Theatre (120 West 14th Street, NYC). Celebrate Off-Off Broadway with the Innovative Theatre Foundation, by joining them when they present the 2018 New York Innovative Theatre Awards on Monday, September 24, 2018. THE DRAGON GRISWYND is based on a story by RD Robbins.

The one-act will have its world premier in the Community Space Theater at The Theater for the New City, Crystal Field (Artistic Director), as part of the 2018 Dream Up Festival, committed to wide-ranging, original theatrical visions. Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced a two-week extension for Manhattan Theatre Club's universally acclaimed new Broadway production of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.
