Summer at Lincoln Center is a time-honored New York tradition, bringing people from all walks of life together to experience a multitude of music, dance, and drama across the entire campus.
Today, Lincoln Center announced the 30th season of Midsummer Night Swing, celebrating the rich diversity of New York City with a wide range of sounds and dance styles from Tuesday, June 25, to Saturday, July 13, 2019. Fifteen nights of outdoor dance lessons and performances under the stars-covering genres like swing, rhythm & blues, ballroom, tango, salsa, and forro-bring to life the timeless magic of summer in the city.
Theater for the New City and Executive Artistic Director Crystal Field will present a reading of Pie Lessons by Carrie Robbins, on Monday, March 11, 2019, 7:00 PM in the Community Space Theater at Theater for the New City. Pie Lessons will be presented as part of TNC's Scratch Night performance program, which offers the opportunity for artists to present work in progress to an audience for one night. HOMEMADE PIE WILL BE SERVED TO ALL COMERS!
This weekend, the renowned Eyal Vilner Big Band will blow the roof off of Birdland Jazz Club for a special holiday show! The show is this Sunday at 6:00pm (doors open at 5:00pm).
