The 2019 Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival features an extraordinary roster of twenty-two musical groups, highlighted by the festival debut of Grammy award winning artist Norah Jones, and the return of jazz legend George Benson and festival favorite Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Back by popular demand is also Los Van Van 50th Anniversary, Django Festival All-Stars with Edmar Castañeda and Grace Kelly, Joshua Redman Quartet, and James Carter Organ Trio. Fifteen emerging artists making their Saratoga debuts include Kandace Springs, Donna Grantis, Joey DeFrancesco Trio, Mercy Project which features Jon Cowherd, Brian Blade, John Patitucci, and Steve Cardenas, Antonio Sanchez & Migration, and Cha Wa. The festival will also feature a record number of groups led by women artists, highlighted by Allison Miller, Veronica Swift, Ruthie Foster and Youn Sun Nah.

The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the golden era tap musical Front Page Flo. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run on August 3rd, 4th, and 7th-9th. Performances will start at 7:30pm and will include a matinee at 2pm on August 8th. Saratoga Performing Arts Center announced that on the heels of Todd Barkan's recent National Endowment for the Arts' (NEA) Jazz Masters fellowship award -- the highest honor the U.S. bestows on jazz artists -- he will join its Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival as the featured host and D.J. broadcasting live from the SPAC amphitheater.

Adirondack Theatre Festival (ATF) announces its 24th season - the fourth for Producing Artistic Director, Chad Rabinovitz.  Rabinovitz will again bring an entire season of major new works to ATF with a team of top-level professional artists, offering experiences that cannot be found anywhere else in the world - only in Glens Falls.  After a record-breaking season of sold-out performances last year, doubling attendance and subscribership in just the past three years, the 2018 season promises to be even larger.  In fact, the season will be one week longer than ever before in order to accommodate the large-scale productions.  Performances will run June 14 - August 9 at the Charles R. Glitches in Reality, a close-up magic act featuring illusionist Simon Coronel, is being presented as a part of Adirondack Theatre Festival's 23rd summer season. Various performance times include 2 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Aug. 7-12 in the cabaret space of the Charles R. Wood Theater.
