Open Stage, a theatre company in downtown Harrisburg, will present for its 23rd consecutive year A Christmas Carol on its Capital Blue Cross Main Stage from Dec. 3-23. The stage adaptation by Stuart Landon and Rachel Landon brings to life Charles Dickens' classic novel of redemption and holiday magic.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL, adapted and directed once again by Alleyway founder Neal Radice, celebrates its 40th milestone this season. The production also stars David C. Mitchell in his tenth year as Scrooge.

Writers Theatre will continue its 2022/23 Season with Manual Cinema’s Christmas Carol, a Manual Cinema production adapted from the novel by Charles Dickens, devised by Manual Cinema with additional writing by Nate Marshall. Manual Cinema’s Christmas Carol will be presented November 29 – December 24, 2022.

Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts will present Scrooge! The Musical, a lively adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, directed by Pamela Thorson. Performances will continue through Sunday, December 18, 2022.

A Christmas Carol will be back on stage, December 2 - 23, 2022, in the Lohrey Theatre at Theatre Memphis for its 45th consecutive production of the holiday classic. The return of Ebenezer Scrooge and the three Spirits who visit him is an adaptation of the Charles Dickens' novel that follows the journey of the miserly businessman from childhood (through disillusionment and revenge) to redemption.
