According to Deadline, MGM has set the voice cast for its Oct. 11, 2019 animated take on The Addams Family including Oscar winners Charlize Theron (Morticia),  Allison Janney (arch nemesis Margaux Needler), two-time Oscar nominee Bette Midler(Grandmama), Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday), Finn Wolfhard (Pugsley), and Nick Kroll (Uncle Fester).

America's kookiest family comes to musical life in The Addams Family, coming to the Whitefish Performing Arts Center April 27-29. The Tony Award-nominated musical is based on the iconic illustrations by Charles Addams and the hit TV show they spawned, and will be performed by 31 students ages 13-18 from 9 different schools across the Flathead Valley. It is part of the ATP Kids theatre education program and is presented by Kalispell KiDDS.

The altogether kooky family made famous by the Charles Addams' 1960s sitcom will take over the Nazareth College Arts Center in The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy. Presented by the Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department, this family-friendly musical brings all of your favorite macabre characters (back) to life at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 in the Callahan Theater, located on the campus of Nazareth College at 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, 14618.

Last night, I saw the completely charming production of 'La Famille Addams' at Th tre Le Palace. This musical written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice with words and music by Andrew Lippa is based on popular American cartoon strip 'The Addams Family' which later became a television series with a huge cult following. I fondly recall watching this series when I was a boy. Mr. Charles Addams' characters have also appeared in two Hollywood feature films. I would say it would be hard to find someone who hasn't heard of this kooky family.

The Addams Family has taken many forms since their creation in the 1930's by cartoonist Charles Addams. Most of us can remember watching the 1960's tv series starring Jon Astin and Carolyn Jones, either live or in reruns. In 2009 the new musical had a trial run in Chicago. After some editing of the musical numbers, they found their way to Broadway in 2010.

Morris-Jumel is proud to announce a terrific and timely new exhibit of the famed New Yorker cartoonist, Charles Addams, for the Fall/Winter 2017 season. Charles Addams Family and Friends will explore family values, rearing of children, entertaining and family outings. Additionally, the exhibition looks at New York and presidential life and will feature memorabilia as well as other Addams ephemera. In the 1940's When cartoonist Charles Addams created his single-panel gag cartoons, which depicted a ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre, even his crystal ball did not predict the future influence his characters would have. While he published more than 1300 cartoons for publications including The New Yorker, TV Guide and Harper's Bizarre, the evolution of those who became known as The Addams Family landed on TV, movies and on Broadway. The Addams Family musical will open October 4 at the iconic Alhambra Theatre and Dining in Jacksonville, Florida and run through November 12.

The New South Wales University Theatre Society (NUTS) are thrilled to announce their major production for 2017, the creepy, kooky The Addams Family Musical.
