Two River Theater has announced its 2023/2024 30th Anniversary Season. This will be the first slate of programming at Two River for new Artistic Director Justin Waldman and Managing Director Nora DeVeau-Rosen.

Foresight Theatrical, a leading Broadway general management company, under the supervision of partners Allan Williams, Aaron Lustbader and Mark Shacket, has named Lane Marsh as Director of Operations.  Marsh, also a general manager at FST, has been with the company since its formation in 2012.   The FST partners also announced that Nick Ginsberg and Jalaina Ross have been promoted to general managers.

Gaiety Musical Theatre Festival, the UK's first ever outdoor festival dedicated to all things stagey, has announced the stellar Variety Stage line up.  The stage will see a wide range of musical performances, including West End stars, all-new musicals and choirs.  Gaiety Festival will feature three stages, the Main Stage with West End superstar headliners, the Community Bandstand, which is supported by NODA and will showcase local midlands talent, and the Variety Stage.  

International award-winning illusionist, Jason Bishop, will be performing his show at the Sieminski Theater on Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 PM. The Jason Bishop Show combines magic and audience interaction in a way that no other magician can.

What did our critic think of WOODY SEZ at Geva Theatre? With rare exceptions, there probably aren't many theatregoers of my generation (Millennial) or younger who have a passing familiarity with the life and legacy of Woody Guthrie beyond 'This Land is Your Land.' I certainly didn't before heading to Geva Theatre to catch a performance of 'Woody Sez', the biographical story of Woody Guthrie written by David M. Lutken, Nick Corley, Darcie Deaville, Helen Jean Russell, and Andy Teirstein. But after leaving Geva that night, it was abundantly clear that this man's story is one everyone should know, because there likely never lived another American so of-the-people as Woody Guthrie.

The result is a record that begs and rewards repeated listenings, 9 songs and 41 minutes including a reimagined song from his band The Life and Times. It’s a rich production that echoes the AM Gold of his childhood but reaches into artistic territories that were generally reserved for Elliott Smith and Sea Change-era Beck. Watch the new video now!

Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment has announced the casting for the world premiere of Claus The Musical which will run at The Lowry from 14 December 2022 – 8 January. The highly anticipated Gaiety Musical Theatre Festival is launching in April 2023 at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire.  Following its postponement in 2022, this one-of-a-kind epic multi-stage festival will bring together some of the biggest West End and Broadway stars for a day packed with musical theatre performances and experiences. 

“The Cocktail Cabaret” returns to the stage to present two showcase performances at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in the Concierge Lounge on Nevada Day, Oct. 28, and Oct. 29.   Doors open for cocktails at 5 p.m. and show time is 6 p.m.
