​​​​​​​ TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL invites audiences to experience the electrifying journey of Tina Turner, the legendary 'Queen of Rock 'n Roll.'

The North American touring cast is led by Naomi Rodgers (Frozen) and Zurin Villanueva (The Lion King, Mean Girls, Shuffle Along, The Book of Mormon) who will evenly share the role of Tina Turner, each playing four (of eight) performances a week.

Now at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa through July 23, 2023, the musical is mostly engaging and passionately performed. But a chaotic, sped-through first act only provides brief vignettes of a challenging life. The better second act focuses on Ms. Turner's comeback, concluding with a mini rock concert that made the visit worthwhile.

Tina: The Tina Turner Musical has been igniting and exciting Pantages audiences since June 13, 2023, with Segerstrom Center the next stop July 11th through July 23rd. Part of this all-around amazing cast, Carla R. Stewart revels in her role of Gran Georganna. Carla managed to find some time between her high energy shows to answer a few of my queries.

As we honor the late Tina Turner upon the news of her recent passing, the national tour of TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL--now playing at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City--is a fitting tribute to a woman who made a great impact not only on the world of music but on the world itself.

On August 14, 2022, Broadway says goodbye to two Tony-nominated productions. Tina- The Tina Turner Musical will conclude its run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre following 27 preview performances and 482 regular performances, and POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive wraps up at the Shubert Theatre following 18 previews and 126 regular performances.

The Green Room 42 has announced their 2022 Pride Week line-up for in-person performances.  As previously announced, The Green Room 42 has launched $5 tickets in celebration of their 5th Anniversary: five $5 tickets will be available for every show through February 14, 2023.

The Green Room 42 has announced their June line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.
