Primary Stages announced today that the Primary Stages 2019 Spring Fling will benefit the Primary Stage Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 6:00 pm.

You'd think after Message to Michael-his beautiful first play about love and its second cousin, friendship, during the heart-wrenching onslaught of AIDS-that Tim Pinckney would've bounced right back with another play.

Theater for the New City, in association with MBL Productions, presents the New York premiere of the new play, Still at Risk by Tim Pinckney.

Audiences are in for a rare treat when theatrical legend Charles Busch and playwright/performer Lee Tannen team up for a special two-performance concert staging of Tannen's I LOVED LUCY on Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23 as a benefit for Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre. This delightful stage adaptation of Tannen's own 2001 memoir, directed by Carl Andress, stars the fabulous Charles Busch as Lucille Ball, Lee Tannen as … Lee Tannen, and also features the multitudinous talents of actor/pianist Tom Judson.

Primary Stages is currently presenting God Said This, written by Leah Nanako Winkler (Two Mile Hollow) and directed by Morgan Gould (Kentucky). The show celebrated its opening last night, January 29, for a run through February 15, 2019 at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St, New York, NY, 10014).

L.A. Theatre Works has announced its 2018-19 season of seven plays, each to be recorded in front of a live audience for future radio broadcast and online distribution. All performances take place at the James Bridges Theater, located on the campus of UCLA in West Los Angeles. In addition, the company will introduce audiences to its signature style of radio theater at venues across the country during its 15th national tour.
