A private industry reading of a new stage musical Farmyard Follies will be held May 15th. An original musical, the work features a score and book by Blake Allen (Insomnia; the shards of an honor code junkie) and Critic's Choice Award Winner, Christopher Seeber (aka Tina Burner from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13) and is inspired by an idea by three-time Canadian Screen Award Nominee Aimée Beaudoin (Caution: May Contain Nuts). Drama Desk-Nominee and Lortel Award Winner Tye Blue (Titaníque) is directing with Allen as musical director. 

Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. Additional casting has been announced for the one-night only concert presentation of the holiday classic Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol on Monday, December 16 at 7:30 pm at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 W. 59th St.). The evening will be directed by Carl Andress with choreography by Nathan Peck, based on original choreography by Marcos Santana. Grammy Award and Emmy Award-winner John McDaniel has written new orchestrations for the score and will serve at the evening's music director, conducting a 28 piece on stage orchestra.

Aisha Jackson and Alyssa Fox of Broadway's Frozen continue their campaign for Gun Reform after a successful concert November 4th at Middle Collegiate Church. The Broadway stars treated a packed house of concertgoers with roof raising vocal selections. The night was featured speeches from activists, Broadway performers, and representatives from Mom's Deman Action. Donations are still being accepted until Monday November 11, 2019.

Broadway's Alyssa Fox (Frozen, Wicked) and Aisha Jackson (Frozen, Waitress) combine forces to raise money for Moms Demand Action: For Gun Sense America, as a part of the Mosaic Concert Series. The concert will be held November 4, 2019 at 7:00PM. The evening will feature a mix of Broadway, pop, and gospel/spiritual music as well as poetry and dance. There will also be voter registration people to vote and education on how to advocate for gun control legislation.
