TIFF Co-Heads Cameron Bailey and Joana Vicente announced today that the World Premiere of Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band, Daniel Roher's touching tale of Robertson's young life and the creation of one of the most enduring groups in the history of popular music, The Band, will be the Opening Night Gala Presentation for the 44th Toronto International Film Festival® on Thursday, September 5, at Roy Thomson Hall. The premiere marks the first time a Canadian-made documentary opens the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Recording Academy has announced that longtime producer/executive producer of the GRAMMY Awards®telecasts since 1980, Ken Ehrlich, will executive produce the upcoming 62nd GRAMMY Awards. The telecast, taking place in 2020, will mark Ehrlich's milestone 40th anniversary. SiriusXM announced today that the iconic rock band Phish will launch their own exclusive SiriusXM channel, Phish Radio, on Friday, June 14 on channel 29. The channel will debut with a live broadcast of the band's three headlining performances from the 2019 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. 

Netflix and OWN announced today that the closing night of Netflix's Emmy® FYSEE showcase, featuring a special in-depth conversation hosted by executive producer Oprah Winfrey, with Emmy®-winner Ava DuVernay and the cast of their four-part limited series, When They See Us – will be recorded to premiere on Netflix and OWN, Wednesday June 12 at 10p ET/PT (immediately following the Season Four premiere of DuVernay's critically acclaimed “Queen Sugar” at 9p on OWN).
