Shoshana Bean Joins Maestra Music's AMPLIFY 2021 Concert

Shoshana Bean has joined the star-studded line up for Maestra Music’s inaugural concert event, Amplify 2021 on Monday, March 29, 2021. Accompanied virtually by Maestras from around the world, Bean will sing an original song with music, lyrics and orchestrations by Maestra member Lynne Shankel (Allegiance) for the finale of the event.

THE PROM Will Come to the Netherlands in 2022

The Prom is going international! The Broadway musical will come to the Netherlands in 2022. This is the first time the musical will be performed in a country outside of the U.S.

BWW Review: THE PROM is an Uplifting, Feel-Good Musical Comedy

I approached Ryan Murphy’s film adaptation of THE PROM, expertly crafted for the stage by writers Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin and composer Matthew Sklar, with a lot of trepidation. Fortunately, most of my fears were misplaced and the final product is a joyous, technicolor celebration of living authentically that tugs all the right heartstrings while tickling every funny bone.

Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens is set to stream on World AIDS Day -today, December 1 (5pm), featuring 51 performers and benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens honors the lives lost to AIDS through free-verse monologues with a blues, jazz and rock score.
