Netflix has announced a premiere date for the much-anticipated fourth season of Sweet Magnolias, with all ten episodes premiering Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Sweet Magnolias follows lifelong best friends Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott), and Helen (Heather Headley) as they juggle relationships, family, and careers in the charming small town of Serenity, SC. Season 3 premiered on Netflix on July 20, 2023 and debuted at #1.

The 92nd Street Y, New York School of Music has announced new guests for their popular virtual interview series, Cabaret Conversations, now in its third year. Led by award-winning cabaret historian and performer Michael Kirk Lane, the series was the recipient of the 2022 Manhattan Association of Cabaret Award for Best Virtual Presentation.

The event will be co-hosted by Brooke Elliott, currently starring in the new Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias” and recently portrayed the lead role of Jane Bingum in Lifetime TV’s “Drop Dead Diva.” Sam Scalamoni, Skyline Theatre Company’s Co-Founder and Artistic Director, will be the event’s other co-host.

Irvine Barclay Theatre was recently informed that Bebe Neuwirth is withdrawing from her concert engagement at Irvine Barclay Theatre on March 16th. Scheduling conflicts will preclude her from being able to perform at the Barclay as planned. In her stead, the Barclay is announcing a performance on the same date, March 16, 2019 at 8pm, of 4 GIRLS 4 featuring four legendary Broadway singers and actresses.

The New York Pops hosts its annual cabaret fundraiser at Feinstein's/54 Below on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.(performance at 6:30 p.m.) starring Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winner Faith Prince. The event is hosted by New York Pops Music Director Steven Reineke.

Producer Mark Cortale's Broadway concert series hosted by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky will return to San Francisco for the 2017/18 season with a move to the Herbst Theatre at the iconic San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center.
