Chris McCarrell & Elizabeth Parkinson Join SUPERYOU Carnegie Hall Concerts

The anthemic rock musical SuperYou by Lourds Lane has announced full casting for the viral sensation’s Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall concert debut on July 20 and 21, 2022. Chris McCarrell (The Lightning Thief) and Tony Award nominee and Astaire Award winner Elizabeth Parkinson (Movin’ Out) complete the cast of Broadway and Off-Broadway stars.

SUPERYOU Makes Carnegie Hall Debut in July

Tickets are now on sale for the Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall concert debut of the viral sensation SuperYou, a new musical by Filipino American composer and writer Lourds Lane and directed by Japanese American director and choreographer JoAnn M. Hunter.

SUPERYOU Will Have Comeback Concert at The Green Room 42

The concert will feature Broadway/Off-Broadway stars --  Kennedy Caughell, LaVon Fisher Wilson, Brie Cassil, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, and book/music/lyrics writer, Lourds Lane, with special guest, Justin Sargent. 

New Musical SUPERYOU to Make Online World Premiere During Women's History Month

 Broadway On Demand will present the online world premiere of the drive-in concert production of the new musical SuperYou by Lourds Lane, the journey of a woman who reconnects with her dreams when her superheroine creations come to life, during Women’s History Month, Friday, March 5 at 8:00 PM ET.

SuperYou was previously scheduled to open off-Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre today, May 27, but plans have been postponed. Grand Rapids Symphony Salutes 'Queens Of Soul' With Spectacular Tribute

Detroit's own Aretha Franklin truly was the a?oeQueen of Soul,a?? recording more than 100 charted singles including 17 Top 10 Pop singles and 20 No. 1 R&B singles. The first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Franklin was ranked number one Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time in 2010. 

Kristy Cates Returns to Cast of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES For Final Performances

On Sunday June 16th, The Marvelous Wonderettes, currently playing Off-Broadway at Theatre Row, will take its final bow.  The show had initially ended its three year run in January, but returned for Sunday performances shortly thereafter.  Returning for the final performances as Missy Miller is Kristy Cates (Wicked, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Finding Neverland); who starred in the show in 2016. 

The TSO Announces May Lineup

The month of May at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) is an ode to the genius of some of the greatest composers of all time, and some of today's most brilliant pianists. An all-Mozart program features revered American pianist Jeremy Denk, and celebrated Canadian piano virtuoso Louis Lortie joins the TSO for two different programs. Not-to-be-missed concerts include Beethoven Symphony 5, Mahler Symphony 7, and Pines of Rome.
