Due to popular demand, a 2:30 p.m. matinee has been added to the Pandora Presents Disney Princess - The Concert engagement at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 28 at 10 a.m.

For generations, Disney’s Princesses have enchanted us with their courage and kindness. Their music has been the soundtrack to our lives. Now, for the first time in forever, that beloved music will be celebrated in Pandora Presents Disney Princess - The Concert on stage at the Fabulous Fox Theatre Saturday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m. 

The season kicks off with Laura Osnes in Concert on February 5 and 6, with music direction by Fred Lassen.

While watching Clue for the millionth time, I managed to cast a cast full of Broadway icons. Because the alleged remake will destroy the iconic original.

What a year 2020 has been for the theatre community. At this time of year, we are usually celebrating the previous season and anxiously awaiting the first productions of a new season. Like so many theatre companies, Iowa Stage started the year of 2020 off strong with the debut of Robert John Forda??s latest musical a?oeAdore Us! Line.a?? As they were getting ready to start performances of a?oeThe Cake,a?? by Bekah Brunstetter, Iowa Stage found themselves having to postpone the show. What no one realized at the time, was the time it would take to be able to perform live again. Now Iowa Stage is looking at how to start providing theatrical opportunities to the community.

In a special broadcast with partner Georgia Public Broadcasting, this evening ArtsBridge Foundation announced the winners of the 12th Annual Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards during a?oeShuler Awards 2020,a?? a special pre-recorded co-production that aired statewide.

The MFA Musical Theatre Program at SDSU is introducing the SDSU Studio Series, available to university musical theatre faculty and students worldwide.

In a special online presentation, ArtsBridge Foundation today announced the nominees for the 12th Annual Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards, with winners to be unveiled in a follow-up online event to be scheduled and announced in May.

Producer Mark Cortale and Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts have announced that The Seth Rudetsky Concert Series, hosted and music directed by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky, will return to Scottsdale for the 2020 season. Kicking off the series this season will be Laura Osnes, Tony Award® nominee for her leading roles in Cinderella and Bonnie and Clyde on Broadway, and star on TV of Hallmark Channel's A Homecoming for the Holidays, on Friday, January 24 at 8:00 PM. She will be followed by Tony Award® nominated actor Norm Lewis, best known for his performances in Porgy and Bess and The Phantom of the Opera and on Television in Scandal and Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert!, on Friday, March 6 at 8:00 PM.

Below are a few highlights from our 2019a?"20 season to get you through the holidays and beyond.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to once again present two-time Tony nominee, Laura Osnes in another “Repertoire Roulette,” which took place on November 4. 

Bonnie & Clyde, the musical about the life of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, is playing until October 13th at St. Dunstan's Theatre Guild of Cranbrook. The show is about the infamous Bonnie and Clyde of the Barrow Gang that robbed banks and committed murders around Depression-era Texas. I'll let the real Bonnie Parker's words kick off my review:

St. Dunstan's Theatre opens their season with the Tony-Nominated new musical, Bonnie & Clyde. In Depression-era Texas, a young waitress and aspiring actress, Bonnie Parker, falls in love with Clyde Barrow, a car-loving small-time crook who just wants to crawl out from under the crushing poverty he's known his whole life.

Today, multi-platinum Danish rock band Volbeat release their seventh studio album Rewind, Replay, Rebound.
