Previews begin at the Dominion Theatre on 14 November, with the official opening taking place on 24 November. The cast of ELF includes Simon Lipkin as Buddy, Rebecca Lock as Emily Hobbs, Georgina Castle as Jovie, Tom Chambers as Walter Hobbs, Kim Ismay as Debs, Nicholas Pound as Santa and Dermot Canavan as Store Manager.

Presented by StoryBook Theatre and based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf The Musical is a modern-day holiday classic that is sure to make everyone embrace their inner elf. Playing from November 25 to December 30, 2022, this is a family friendly performance that makes for the perfect holiday treat! 

To celebrate their 50th holiday season in Barboursville, Four County Players will present ELF: THE MUSICAL opening November 18 on the Mainstage. This production features a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, Music by Matthew Sklar, Lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and is based upon the New Line Cinema film written by David Berenbaum.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical comedy, about a musical within a comedy, featuring music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. With a book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, this musical tells the story of a fictional 1928 musical. The story itself centers around a character, 'Man in Chair,' as he describes to the audience his trepidations in life and this overwhelming feeling of sadness and foreboding which he calls 'Blue.' So over the course of two hours the 'Man in Chair,' takes the audience on a journey using the only thing he knows that will cheer him up, his love of Musical Theatre tunes, specifically classics such as The Drowsy Chaperone.

Chanhassen Dinner Theatres has announced that it will produce THE PROM, Broadway’s smash hit musical comedy, on its Main Stage to be directed by Michael Brindisi and choreographed by Tamara Kangas Erickson.

Beck Center for the Arts will reprise the smash hit from 2021, Elf The Musical, a soon to be holiday classic for the stage.  

Emmaus, residents will embrace their inner 'elf' when STAR OF THE DAY presents their production of Elf The Musical Jr. The show featuring STAR OF THE DAY youth performers opens on December 2nd running through the 11th with six performances scheduled on Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm, and Sunday matinees at 3pm.

The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced the full casting for the world première of Terry Johnson's The Sex Party – Johnson directs Will Barton (Tim), Amanda Donohoe (Magdalena), Lisa Dwan (Gilly), John Hopkins (Jake), Timothy Hutton (Jeff), Jason Merrells (Alex), Pooya Mohseni (Lucy), Molly Osborne (Hetty) and Kelly Price (Camilla).

About Bill productions will present a three-night run of About Bill at The Other Palace – The one woman show starring Kim Ismay, running from 7-9 October 2022.
