Blackeyed Theatre, in association with South Hill Park Arts Centre, has released first look photos of Sherlock Holmes: The Valley of Fear by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and adapted for the stage by Nick Lane.

Following UK-wide success in 2023, Blackeyed Theatre is reviving its acclaimed Sherlock Holmes: The Valley of Fear in Spring 2024, including a three-week London premiere at Southwark Playhouse Borough

After delighting audiences around the world with their international tour of The Sign of Four, Blackeyed Theatre bring to life The Valley of Fear, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's thrilling final Sherlock Holmes novel, in an electric new stage adaptation which visits Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre in May.

Following its UK-wide and digital success, Blackeyed Theatre’s acclaimed stage adaptation of Sherlock Holmes: The Valley of Fear will continue its tour in 2023, with 31 further venues announced. 

After delighting audiences around the world with their international tour of The Sign of Four, Blackeyed Theatre will now bring to life The Valley of Fear, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's thrilling final Sherlock Holmes novel, in an electric new stage adaptation. 

As part of a nine-month national tour, Blackeyed Theatre brings The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde to Greenwich Theatre for its only London dates, from Tuesday 19 to Saturday 23 April. Originally due to open in September 2020, Nick Lane's thrilling adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's dark psychological fantasy was instead filmed and enjoyed by online audiences across the world.

Following being filmed and streamed in 2020, this thrilling adaptation by Nick Lane of Robert Louis Stevenson’s dark psychological fantasy is touring the country from September 2021 – May 2022 with over 100 dates, immersing audiences in the myth and mystery of 19th century London.

Leo Tolstoy's ANNA KARENINA adapted by Helen Edmundson (currently represented on The West End with Queen Anne) was presented as a developmental reading at The Arcola Theatre on July 23 in London. The 'electrifying' adaptation was devised by Jaclyn Bethany with company members James Barnes, Jasmine Blackborow, Peta Cornish, Aisha Fabienne Ross, Will Haddington, Kate Handford, Blake Kubena, William Sebag-Montefiore and produced by Joanne Williams.
