The Green Room 42 Presents: An Evening With... Series: Doris Day, hosted by 2-time MAC Award Winner Doris Dear. Casting will be announced soon.

Blake Allen's hit An Evening With... Series, which plays bi-monthly at The Green Room 42, is releasing an album of acoustic arrangements from their first season entitled An Evening With... Volume 1 on April 26, 2019 on all platforms. Physical copies will also be for sale before the general public at the next installment of the series on April 25: Nat 'King' and Natalie Cole.

Pipeline Theatre Company has announced full casting for the world premiere of jazz concert-party-play hybrid Playing Hot, created by Kevin Armento (Balls) and Jaki Bradley (1969: The Second Man). Playing Hot is written by Armento and C.A. Johnson (Thirst), will be directed by Bradley, and will feature musical supervision by Marcus Miller. Playing Hot will begin previews at Theater 511 (511 West 54th Street) on April 18, 2019, and officially open on May 2, playing a limited engagement through May 12, 2019. In 2018, the idea for #ComeTogether was sparked. Much of the inspiration for this project stems from an incomplete American Songbook-many voices are missing and stories are unheard. In lieu of our current political climate, we are deeply struck by the hostility aimed at dividing our country and turning Americans against one another. Art is and always has been a uniting force. Blake Allen, known for his innovative bridging of contemporary music and theater through composition, performance, and storytelling, presents the world premiere of Kelly [1955],  produced by Traguna Productions at  the New York Theater Festival, March 5, 9 and 10 at the Hudson Guild Theater in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.

Entertainer Marti Gould Cummings, known for his inventive blend of drag, comedy, and vocal performance, announces a drag-rock fusion event, The Queen in Concert: Marti Gould Cummings, January 8, 2019. Held in the rare and beautiful Spiegeltent (mirror tent) erected by the Big Apple Circus, The Mirror Room interactive installation at Lincoln Center crowns Cummings as the ringmaster of his very own glam circus.
