Pipeline Theatre Company (Ari Schrier*, Artistic Director; Natalie Gershtein*, Producing Director) is proud to announce tickets are now on sale for all performances of the world premiere production of Folk Wandering, a new musical conceived by Jaclyn Backhaus (Men on Boats) and Andrew Neisler (Clown Bar), featuring a book and lyrics byBackhaus and music and additional lyrics by collaborating composers Blake Allen (Boston Nebraska), Mike Brun (Music Director, Mr. Burns), Andrew R. Butler (Finn the Fearless), Joel Esher(PharmaBro: an American Douchical!), Alex Fast (The Drawer Boy), Jo Lampert (Joan of Arc: Into The Fire), Barrie McLain (Hundred Days), Annie Tippe (Director, Ghost Quartet), and Dominique Toney ( Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ). Andrew Neisler will direct.

Pipeline Theatre Company has announced the cast, creative team and schedule for the world premiere production of Folk Wandering.

Blake Allen, known for his innovative bridging of contemporary music and theater through composition, performance, and advocacy, presents the world premiere of the autobiographical musical the shards of an honor code junkie, December 4, 2017. Originally slated for The Tillary Hotel in Brooklyn, New York, the show has been moved to the Metro Baptist Church, located in midtown, Manhattan.

This strictly limited Broadway engagement began performances at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue) on Friday, November 17th, and continues through Saturday, December 30th only. Checkout photos from the opening night red carpet below!

Showman Marti Gould Cummings, known for his inventive blend of drag, comedy, and vocal performance, announces the release of his first record, A Very Marti Holiday, available on iTunes November 1. Produced by Blake Allen, the album will feature recordings with Marti Gould Cummings, Tony Award Winner Cady Huffman, Tony nominee Daphne Rubin Vega, Olivier Award winner Lesli Margarita, Lion King star Jelani Remy, Kristina Nicole Miller, and Dear Evan Hanson's Tim Young.

HAIL OBLIVION: A Pirate Fantasia, the latest music theater work by composer/lyricist Stephanie Ryan Johnstone and librettist Joshua William Gelb, will be released as a concept album on April 9th with a cast featuring Bryce Pinkham (Gentlemen's Guide, Heidi Chronicles, Holiday Inn), Ato Blankson-Wood (The Total Bent, Lysistrata Jones , Hair), Amber Gray (Great Comet, An Octoroon), Julian Fleisher (February House, Coraline), Rick Burkhardt (Three Pianos), among others.
