Artists from the Public Theater have created a video performing 'Ring of Keys' from Fun Home in honor of pride month!

Due to social distancing protocols, Virginia Stage Company will be hosting a Virtual Summer Theatre Camp for students. Each camp will take place virtually through video communications site, Zoom. The Summer Theatre Camp is one of many virtual offerings Virtual Stage Company is currently providing for both student and adult theatre artists. On March 30, 2020, Theatre Forward, a non-profit arts organization based in New York City, will hold its Chairman's Awards Gala at the Edison Ballroom, 240 West 47th Street, New York City to honor stage and screen star Kelli O'Hara, and Theatre Forward Executive Director Bruce E. Whitacre. Kelli O'Hara will receive the Theatre Artist Award presented by Bartlett Sher, and Bruce E. Whitacre will receive the Theatre Forward Leadership Award presented by Regina Taylor.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, just celebrated its 2020 TCG Gala: Our Stories, last night, February 3, 2020, at The Edison Ballroom. The Gala honored North Carolina Black Repertory Company's National Black Theatre Festival, based in Winston-Salem; playwright David Henry Hwang; and TCG's arts advocacy at the federal level. The evening included performances from A Strange Loop and Soft Power, and feature Billy Bustamante, James Jackson, Jr., and Alyse Alan Louis.
