The world premiere of COLOROPOLIS, written by A.P. De La Caridad, directed by Travya Santos Gatz and Tor Brown, opens this Friday, February 11 at 8pm and runs through Sunday, February 27 only at Loft Ensemble, located at 11031 Camarillo Street in North Hollywood, 91602. Here is my interview with the talented trio on their vision for the production and the process of bringing it to the stage.

Club Passim announced that the 19th annual Boston Celtic Music Festival (BCMFest) will move online. Known for attracting the best Celtic musicians from across New England and beyond, BCMFest will feature more than two dozen artists performing January 13-16, 2022.

Loft Ensemble in North Hollywood has announced the second production of its ninth anniversary season, the world premiere of Alley of Misfits by Barbera Ann Howard and Marjorie Lewit. Boston Celtic Music Fest (BCMFest), a program of Cambridge nonprofit Passim, will mark its 18th year by bringing some of Boston's favorite Celtic music and dance performers to homes throughout the world in a new virtual format. The cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Adam Chambers, Sean Durrie, Charlie Daniell, Jana Hamblin, Marc Leclerc, Jenny Mitchell, Benjamin Rawls, Keaton Rogers, La'Vel Stacy, and Madylin Sweeten. There will be six performances only beginning Friday, February 21, at 8pm and continuing through Sunday, March 1.

King's Head Theatre and Making Productions are pleased to announce casting for Robert Chesley's play Jerker, which returns to London for the first time in 29 years. Tibu Fortes will play Bert and Tom Joyner will play J R, directed by Ben Anderson. Jerker runs at the Kings Head Theatre between 30 October and 23 November 2019 (press night Friday 1 November).
