East Lynne Theater Company, Cape May Stage, and GABLES joined forces to support LGBTQ+ Gay Pride Month with 'Cape Pride: Two Staged Readings.' On June 10, 'The Normal Heart' was at Cape May Stage, and on Monday, June 24, 'The Temperamentals' by Jon Marans, will be at The First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, 500 Hughes St., where ELTC is in residence. Time is 8:00 p.m., and admission is by donation, with a suggested minimum of $10 in cash or by check, at the door. 50% will be shared between Cape May Stage and East Lynne Theater Company (both nonprofits); 50% will be donated to the Gay Men's Health Crisis (another nonprofit) to support its on-going work. Following the reading will be a Q&A with the cast.

She NYC Arts will present a limited engagement of Elinor T and Drew Vanderburg's Dancing Girl, directed by Jenny Beth Snyder as part of the fourth annual She NYC Arts Summer Theater Festival at The Connelly Theater (220 East 4th Street, New York, NY 10009). From June 19 to 23, New Yiddish Rep will present 'Crazy Meshuge Hurricane Earthquake' by Amy Coleman, directed by David Mandelbaum, at The Playroom Theater, 151 West 46th Street, 8 fl. This six-character play (portrayed by four actors) is the story of an unlikely connection that develops between a middle aged non-religious Jewish woman and a young Hasidic man struggling with schizophrenia. Hired to be his caretaker, the woman attempts to give him the support he needs, but discovers that her agenda may have more to do with her own needs than his. The play offers important lessons on love and trust.

The multi-Tony Award-winning, international sensation that performed to sold-out houses during its run in 2018, is back by popular demand May 15 through June 15. This spring the award-winning New York Neo-Futurists are pleased to welcome four new performers to their ever growing and changing roster.
