For over twenty years the Chicago Cabaret Professionals' (CCP) annual Gala has been a festive live event.  

One of Joe Gianono's favorite project's is his latest Christmas Album, 'It's Christmas' that features a song for kids to write to Santa via the internet, 'Santa Dot Com' a song that he wrote for kids, young and old, who still believe in Santa Claus in this new computer and now pandemic era. It hits all the right notes now more than ever!

As a special gift to Vermonters this holiday season, Northern Stage has partnered with Vermont Public Radio to present a free one-time-only broadcast of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play on Saturday, December 12, at 3 p.m.

Cygnet Theatre has announced a full lineup of holiday programming for December, 2020. While the news is bleak and spirits may not be as high as usual for this time of year, the theatre hopes to bring some joy into the homes of San Diegans with their December programming. Programs include the cabaret-style Musical Monday: Home for the Holidays, a streaming version of the 2011 production It's a Wonderful Life, and their continued tradition of presenting A Christmas Carol, this year as a new one-man, original filmed adaptation featuring Artistic Director Sean Murray.

2021 will see Papatango mount an ambitious programme of open-entry opportunities to support early-stage artists and freelancers, who are among those hardest hit by Covid-19, and provide completely free and accessible new plays to help encourage audiences back to theatre. The 2021 programme will see:

Raleigh Little Theatre will present “This Wonderful Life” by Steve Murray as this year’s holiday production. “This Wonderful Life,” a one-actor show, will be performed live and in-person from Dec. 10-20, with an option to stream a pre-recorded performance from home Dec. 17-25. The production is directed by RLT’s artistic director, Patrick Torres.

But a new Black intelligentsia has been pushing back against what they say is a racial essentialism baked into the anti-racist theory.

Miami New Drama has announced casting, creative team and production dates for Seven Deadly Sins: Temptation in the Magic City, an innovative, site-specific event which will be presented from November 27 through January 3 in seven vacant storefronts along Miami Beach's historic Lincoln Road. Opening night is Saturday, December 5.
