World of Wonder announced the guest judge lineup for Canada’s Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World, including Anjulie, Gary Janetti, Hollywood Jade, Jeanne Beker, Joe Zee, Monét X Change, Priyanka, and Sarain Fox. American Blues Theater has announced its 21st Annual Production of It’s a Wonderful Life: Live in Chicago! It’s a Wonderful Life: Live in Chicago! will run November 23 – December 23, 2022 at Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division, Chicago. The press opening is Sunday, November 27 at 2:30pm.

The Sherman Players presents its final show of the 2022 season, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, by Joe Landry. The show will be produced by Matt Austin and Michael Schaner and will be directed by Steve Stott of Brookfield. This production replaces the previously announced PRIDE AND PREJUDICE by Kate Hamill.

This is the third year that CONSTELLATIONS is running out at Spier Wine Farm and I’m glad that I finally got to experience it. It’s a magical setting for performances and the whole experience was unlike anything I’d done before.

Being its twelfth year in existence, I spoke with Allen Walls, Creator and Producer of the World Choreography Awards to catch up with this now seasoned Presentation and how it has been evolving through the years. Emmy-winning media company World of Wonder, the team behind RuPaul’s Drag Race, has picked up a second season of the Jinkx Monsoon-led comedy series Sketchy Queens. The renewal announcement comes timed to the season finale of the 8-episode series. Sketchy Queens’ second season will continue to stream exclusively on WOW Presents Plus.

Earlier this week, The Nederlander Organization unveiled the new Lena Horne Theatre in honor of the iconic entertainer and civil rights activist. Usher in the season with the holiday hit It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at Hartford Stage, starting performances November 25. In this stage adaptation directed by Zoë Golub-Sass, Connecticut playwright Joe Landry has refashioned the 1946 Jimmy Stewart movie into a play reminiscent of the Golden Age of Radio.Originally co-directed by Melia Bensussen and Rachel Alderman, the staging, complete with a Foley sound effects artists and period commercials, is certain to charm and entertain.

The Fine Arts Center Theatre Company will kick off the holiday season with the American holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.”
