The new comedy musical, MR. SATURDAY NIGHT, starring stage and screen legend Billy Crystal, begins previews on Broadway on tonight, March 29th and will officially open on Wednesday, April 27th. 'It's been this unbelievable journey... and just to think that I have to do this seven times a week! Ahead of his Broadway return in Mr. Saturday Night, Billy Crystal accepted the Lfetime Achievement Award at last night's Critics Choice Awards. Mr. Crystal returns to the role of Buddy Young Jr., which he portrayed in the original 1992 Columbia Pictures film of the same name, now starring alongside Shoshana Beane, Randy Graff, and more.

The box office for the new musical comedy, MR. SATURDAY NIGHT, co-written by and starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal, will open on Monday, February 21 at 10am at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). The Nederlander Theatre box office will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

A new musical comedy, Mr. Saturday Night is about one man's meteoric rise to the middle. The musical is a work in development and will be presented with minimal set and costume pieces.

The 11th Annual Burbank International Film Festival announced its winners at their closing night Awards Show and Reception held at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel on September 8. This year's honorees included Ed Asner, Marion Ross, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel. Over 200 short and full-length films by up-and-coming filmmakers were screened during September 4-8 at the AMC Burbank 16.

According to reports, comedy legend, Billy Crystal, will star on Broadway in the musical adaptation of his film, Mr. Saturday Night.

The 11th Annual Burbank International Film Festival (BIFF) will honor Ed Asner, Marion Ross, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel on September 4th-8th at the AMC 16 Theatre in Downtown Burbank. Opening Night will begin with celebrity arrivals, media red carpet and the World Premiere of the documentary film Stallone: Frank, That Is. The film stars Frank Stallone and is about his life as a guitarist, singer, actor and Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated songwriter. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Frank Stallone and the filmmakers.

Billy Crystal has his sights set on Broadway! According to Variety, the stage and screen veteran is at work on a musicalized version of his 1992 film, Mr. Saturday Night.  "It's a great character and now I don't need the makeup!" Crystal told Variety. "It's coming along very well. The funny is always there but the depth and the humanity is even stronger, based on what we learned from the reaction to the movie over the years."
