This Valentine’s Day, Fiasco Theater came together to share their love for the one and only Stephen Sondheim, with an evening of songs and stories.

Tootsie is a new musical based on the 1982 film starring Dustin Hoffman. The story follows Michael Dorsey ('Is he an actor? Yes, of course, he is. Is he successful? Yes, of course, he's not') and the opening number immediately makes his rotten reputation evident and known.

Broadway Records announced today the forthcoming release of Assassins (The 2022 Off-Broadway Cast Recording). The album will preserve Stephen Sondheim’s full score with the recent Classic Stage Company cast with direction by John Doyle.

Classic Stage Company has announced that Danny Wolohan will replace Andy Grotelueschen as Samuel Byck in the company’s sold-out production of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Assassins, directed by CSC Artistic Director John Doyle.

This past weekend saw a reading of Broadway Vacation, a new musical based on the Vacation film franchise. The reading featured cast members Hunter Foster, Kerry Butler, Ben Wang, Daniela Rodrigo, Alan H. Green, and Andy Grotelueschen, in roles inspired by the films.
