Casting has been announced for Theatre Orb in Japan's production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in concert. The production is currently set to begin performances on July 12th, with the official opening on July 15th. The production will run through July 27th.

Larry Saltis was just a teenager when he was selected from a nationwide casting call to be the lead vocalist and lead guitarist for The New Monkees. The television show produced one highly heralded self-titled album before leaving the air.

The Phantom of the Opera’s orchestra will be cut in half upon the production's return to the West End. BroadwayWorld has confirmed from a representative for the Broadway production that the New York version of the show will re-open with full orchestrations and with the same set. 'Independent of the London production, it’s to be determined what tech and safety upgrades might be necessary for New York’s physical production, having been dormant a year,' he said.
