Torrance Theatre Company Presents THE ADDAMS FAMILY, August 6 - 13

Torrance Theatre Company opens their 24th season at the James R. Armstrong Theatre with THE ADDAMS FAMILY: A New Musical Comedy; book by MARSHALL BRICKMAN and RICK ELICE, music and lyrics by ANDREW LIPPA; and based on characters created by Charles Addams.

Broadway Rose Theatre to Present A PEANUTS MUSICAL in July

Broadway Rose Theatre Company will continue its 2022 Season of Live Musicals with You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, based on the comic strip 'Peanuts' by Charles M. Schulz. Preview performance is Thursday, July 7, with opening night on Friday, July 8, and performances continuing through July 31.

Disney's DESCENDANTS Opens This Friday June 17 at Theatre In The Park

BWW Review: UNBREAKABLE performed by Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC at Lincoln Theatre

“You Can’t Stop the Music” as the Village People say and this might have been the mission of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC (GMCW) as they sang their hearts out in esteemed composer Andrew Lippa’s original work entitled Unbreakable.  This East coast premiere by Mr. Lippa (composer of the musicals The Wild Party, Big Fish, and the oratorio I am Harvey Milk) was originally planned for 2020 but thanks to the “unbreakable” GMCW spirit, this fascinating work by Mr. Lippa was finally presented at the Lincoln Theatre.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) announced the celebration of its 70th anniversary. Officially recognized on May 29th, the date former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared “Music Theatre International Day” in 2012, MTI is celebrating this milestone throughout the next year by showcasing the incredible talents of theatrical organizations around the world.
