Ted Sperling, Artistic Director of MasterVoices, announced details of the acclaimed ensemble's 78th season, celebrating the joy of choral singing and the power of the human voice to unite, inspire and connect since 1941. Highlights include three major musical presentations at top venues, including a New York premiere, and the World Premiere of a new work, commissioned by the Company. Throughout the season there will be collaborations with leading singers, artists, ensembles and organizations, some who are familiar with and others who are new to the Company.

The concert of Oswald features Reeve Carney (Hadestown, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark), Amy Spanger (Matilda, Elf), Justin Matthew Sargent (Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, Rock of Ages), Joe Carroll (Frozen, Bandstand), Nasia Thomas (Ain't Too Proud, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Alex Finke (Come From Away, Les Miserables), De'Lon Grant (Come From Away),Donnie Kehr (Billy Elliott, Jersey Boys), Justin Mortelliti (Escape to Margaritaville), Blaine Krauss (The Cher Show, Kinky Boots), and Joey Calveri (Rock of Ages, Wonderland), with more talent to be announced.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announces casting and creative teams for the summer season of new musicals and plays selected for development at the National Music Theater Conference and National Playwrights Conference.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The new Off-Broadway comedy Popcorn Falls opened just last night, October 8, at the Davenport Theatre (354 W 45th Street). The production, written by James Hindman, is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle, in his New York directorial debut. Popcorn Falls stars Adam Heller and Tom Souhrada, playing over twenty roles in under ninety minutes.
