The producers of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS have unveiled the principal cast joining Sutton Foster as Winnifred the Woebegone, and Michael Urie as Prince Dauntless. See the new cast members here!

 Drama Desk Award winner and SAG Award nominee Michael Urie will star alongside Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in Once Upon A Mattress on Broadway this summer! Tickets are on sale now!

 ONCE UPON A MATTRESS will open on Broadway this summer at The Hudson Theatre, starring Tony Award winner Sutton Foster! Foster will lead the Broadway cast, reprising her acclaimed performance as Winnifred the Woebegone.

Gilmore Girls star Kelly Bishop will publish her first memoir, 'The Third Gilmore Girl.' After dancing in Broadway musicals like Golden Rainbow, On the Town, and Promises, Promises, she won a Tony Award for originating the role of Sheila Bryant in A Chorus Line. Much of the role was based on her life, which will be explored in the upcoming book.

New York City Center Encores! season kicked off with Once Upon a Mattress, which officially closed on February 4, 2024. BroadwayWorld was there to celebrate the show's final performance. Check out photos of the cast taking their final bows and celebrating at the after party.
