The Second City has announced that its first-ever physical location in New York City will open in Summer 2023.

The popular Broadway talk show Live with Rye & Friends on Broadway will celebrate its one-year anniversary with two celebratory shows on Monday, September 26 and October 17 at 9:30 pm at the Triad Theater.

Scott Aukerman brings his popular podcast, 'Comedy Bang! Bang' live on stage at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, August 20 at 7PM (Doors at 5:30PM). Tickets for the show are on sale now.

Legendary Chicago comedy institution The Second City has announced the creation of The Victor Wong Fellowship, a program to train and mentor up-and-coming comedians. Named after The Second City's first Asian American performer and funded by Peng Zhao, CEO of Citadel Securities, and his wife, Cherry Chen, the fellowship will focus on developing the next generation of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) talent.

Due to popular demand, the Neal Brennan: Unacceptable tour has added a fourth stand-up performance on Saturday, May 14 at 9:30 pm on The Den Theatre’s Heath Mainstage, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.

The Boston College Arts Council will present its 2022 Alumni Arts Award for Distinguished Achievement to Jeff Augustin, Class of 2008, an acclaimed and award-winning playwright and screenwriter whose plays have been performed at high-profile festivals and venues across the country. He will be on campus as the special alumni guest during the University's 24th annual Arts Festival, April 28-30, 2022, and participate in festival programming.  

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present acclaimed vocalist and songwriter Amanda McBroom in her new show “Crimes of the Heart” on Monday, May 2 at 7:00 PM. McBroom’s concert will feature songs of passion, politics, and just plain love, written by the likes of Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Leonard Cohen, and of course, Amanda McBroom.
