 Co-founders T. Oliver Reid, Warren Adams, and Reginald “Reggie” Van Lee, along with Executive Director Olivia Jones and Program Director Lico Whitfield, announced today the members of their inaugural cohort of General Management Fellows as part of the Black Theatre Coalition Fellowship Program.

Front Row Productions was established by award-winning producers Stephen Byrd and Alia Jones-Harvey to bring major works to Broadway and the West End featuring diverse casts, creative teams and management.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to join an Information Session on Monday, June 7 at 6:30PM EDT.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center has awarded multi-discipline creative artist Lin-Manuel Miranda the 18th Monte Cristo Award. An alumnus of the O'Neill, Miranda's first professional production was at the O'Neill's National Music Theater Conference with In The Heights in 2005. Playwright and comedian Lisa Lampanelli and producer Rachel Karpf announced today that STUFFED will play its final performance Off-Broadway on Sunday, November 19th at the Westside Theatre (Downstairs, 407 West 43rd Street).

EMPIRE, a new musical about the men and women who defied the odds and built the tallest skyscraper in the world, is currently undergoing a five-week developmental workshop and will receive industry presentations on October 27 and 28.

The new partnership, to begin operations on September 5th, will continue to supply executive producer and general management services to a variety of theatrical productions including Mamma Mia!, Billy Elliot, the upcoming musicals this season of Bonnie and Clyde, Ghost, the revival of EVITA and the play Magic/Bird. Future productions include several new musicals and plays in development; among these Empire, Viva Forever, Mad Hot Ballroom, and Motown, based on the life of Berry Gordy, Jr.

The honorees of the Broadway League Awards, honoring excellence and achievement for Touring Broadway, were hosted today by George Hamilton during the Broadway League's 2011 Spring Road Conference. First presented in 1992, the Broadway League Awards recognize the contributions of those who have displayed exemplary service to the Broadway industry and are considered innovators of their craft.

BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO is a new American play by Rajiv Joseph Starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut and directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Moisés Kaufman.
