The Grotto, the feature film written and directed by Tony Award–winning actress and director Joanna Gleason, is now available to audiences nationwide on Apple TV, Amazon Video, and YouTube. 

Max Original JUROR #2, from Warner Bros. Pictures, will make its global streaming debut FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20 exclusively on Max. The movie follows family man Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial.

Created by Jessica Kahkoska and Notch Theatre Company, Wild Home: An American Odyssey is a national theatre project that brings to the stage the fears, struggles, and experiences of local communities in areas under serious threat from oil drilling and gas fracking.

Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman as head writer, the six-episode series stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Adepero Oduye, Amy Aquino and Danny Ramirez. “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” is now streaming on Disney+.

National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Mary Anne Carter has announced more than $84 million in grants as part of the Arts Endowment's second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2020. Included in this announcement is an Art Works award to Notch Theatre Company for 'Wild Home: A Theatre Odyssey Across Rural America.'

Today, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) announced the initial line-up for the 2019 SCAD aTVfest, Atlanta's only festival dedicated to television. Now in its seventh year, the university's annual signature event celebrating the television industry will be held at SCADshow on February 7 - 9, 2019. Entertainment Weekly (EW) will serve as the first ever Official Media Partner for SCAD aTVfest.

As with each passing season, 2018 proved to be another exceptional year for theater not only in Souther California in general but also in Orange County---my home base. This year, the OC finally welcomed the debut of what has become this century's most awarded and most renowned stage musical ever about the Founding Father etched regally on the 10 dollar bill. Meanwhile, So. Cal. enjoyed a powerful surge of new stage works that explored Asian-American experiences, a positive step forward in the presentation of diverse voices we seldom hear from on the stage. A pair of touring musicals---both opening in the O.C. in early 2019---made such an impact in their Los Angeles engagements for me personally that I had to include them in my list, even though I have not 'officially' reviewed the productions for print. With that said, here is my 'Best of 2018' from Orange County and adjacent locales nearby---a mixture of outstanding shows and brilliant performances that made a lasting, memorable imprint in my theatergoing experience this year.
